I read this quote a while ago and my entire health and fitness journey flashed in front of my eyes. There couldn’t be a better description than this quote.

Most of us try to do everything right and when we make one mistake, we feel like we failed. But what if, instead of trying to be perfect you tried to be consistent?

  1. Don’t let one bad day/meal/workout throw you off.
  2. Stop feeling pressured to follow a specific, cookie cut routine. We’re all different – do what works for you! 
  3. Take note of how you speak to yourself – it matters! Always be kind, even on the days when you “mess up” or things don’t go as planned. 
  4. Create a routine you’re obsessed with. It should be something you look forward to, something that brings you joy! 
  5. Always aim to be 1% better each day. 

Consistency is about showing up, not about being perfect. It is the driver for success. It leads to momentum. And that is what will keep you going!
